STUDENT INFORMATION / REQUIREMENTS:

Thank you for choosing the Academic Institute of Real Estate for your real estate pre-licensing courses. Below is information on Pennsylvania’s real estate salesperson educational requirements, as well as those from the Academic Institute of Real Estate.

The state requires pre-licensing students to complete 30 hours of instruction for Real Estate Fundamentals, and 45 hours of instruction for real estate practices. If you miss more than 20% of class time, you will need to make up time before transcripts will be issued to you, even if you already passed your unit exam(s).

Students will be emailed links to the classes on the afternoon of class, including exam days. Students must have a smart-phone with texting capabilities, a computer with a web camera, and easy access to a printer.
You must be seen on camera to receive credit for your class hours – this also applies to testing hours. All exams are to be hand-written by the students on a single-page answer sheet, and texted to 724–321–5017, immediately upon completion of the exam, unless otherwise pre-approved by AIRE.

The school’s hours are Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.   724–944–8255.
Calls received before or after hours, please leave your name, contact information, and a brief message. Your call will be returned as soon as possible. If unable to attend class, please try to let us know by text or call.

Students are given two chances to pass each exam. If a passing score is not obtained after the second round of testing, students will have the opportunity to retake the course(s) for a reduced fee, then will be given two additional opportunities to take the exam(s). Transcripts will not be issued until all course requirements have been met, and all payments have been received. Exam scores will be provided to students within 72 hours upon receipt of the exams unless there are unforeseen circumstances. If this should be the case, students will be contacted.

We are excited to be part of your journey into real! Enjoy!
